Job Description / Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements (business and functional), uncovering areas for improvement, developing and implementing solutions.
  • Developing requirements documents: goal model, functional modeling, business process, customer interactions/wireframes; writing high-level user requirements (Epics and User Stories) and Process flows/analysis in JIRA.
  • Preparing prerequisites use cases, acceptance criteria, end business testing requirements and formal requirements documentation.
  • Understanding of the music distribution (digital and physical) industry to suggest new features and enhance existing features.
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Performing requirements analysis.
  • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
  • Demonstrations of new functionality to business and technology users.
  • Work in tandem with the team to produce user manual and system documents in the desired format.
  • Competitor analysis to suggest additions and improvements.
  • Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Performing user acceptance testing.
  • Managing projects and monitoring performance.
  • Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures.
  • Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Experience: 

  • 5 – 7 yrs

Education and Qualification:

  • Graduate/MBA

Skills Required:

  • Primary expertise as a techno-functional resource.
  • Experience to include data analysis, interpretation, research design, implementation and report writing.
  • Must be experienced in translating business needs into research strategies and actionable recommendations.
  • Must have the ability to successfully manage and deliver multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficient with tools like Jira, Trello, Wiki, Ms-Word, Excel, Whimsical, and Visio, etc.
  • Have a good experience of the Agile Process (Scrum and Kanban).
  • Comprehends end to end business life cycle and stated/unstated needs of the customer in order to provide value.
  • Shows a good understanding of the music distribution (digital and physical) domain and visualizes new features and requirements from the industry best practice and documents them for technical implementation.
  • Good listener and values others inputs and responds appropriately.
